Robert Costanza, Ph.D., is Gund Professor of Ecological Economics and Director of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont. Full Bio
Robert Bartlett, Ph.D Project Co-Chair
Robert Bartlett, Ph.D., is Professor of Political Science in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Vermont. His current research focuses on environmental democracy, namely, the applicability of theories of deliberative democracy to environmental policy design and evaluation and, in turn, the implications of practical policy considerations for theorizing about deliberative democracy. He is beginning a project on democracy, environmental policy, and international jurisprudence.Noah Pollock, M.S,. Project Coordinator
Noah hails from Delmar, NY, and graduated from Cornell University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources. He recently earned a Master's degree from the Rubenstein School for Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Vermont, where he studied sustainable community development and ecological economics. Noah continues his work as a for the Gund Institute of Ecological Economics, helping facilitate the Leading By Design Project, and assisting with the development of online courses. He also joined the Spring Hill Solutions consulting firm in December, 2007.Matt Sayre, M.Ed., Project Coordinator
Matt has worked in higher-education for close to 10 years in student affairs, development, finance, and most recently as the Senior Program Developer for the Environmental Leadership & Design Program housed in Continuing Education. He also started a successful for-profit “green” business and more recently a start-up non-profit “green” organization. He is wrapping up a graduate Certificate in Ecological Economics and is planning to continue his graduate work in Ecological Economics.
