The Integrative Center for Sustainable Solutions:
Leading by Design for a Sustainable and Desirable Future
After
many
months of community
envisioning and creative synthesis, the Leading By Design
Task Force has developed
a draft
proposal for the Lewis Foundation. The
University of Vermont prides itself in a shared governance model, and
the proposal is currently under review in this decision making process,
which involves a
new faculty committee, the faculty
senate, the board of trustees, and other governance bodies. As part of this process, a proposal for a new matrix center has been drafted and is undergoing a Faculty Senate Review process.
- A review committee has recently approved a proposal to be sent to the Faculty Senate.
- We encourage you to read about the project, and review the current proposal or it's executive summary.
- Recently, over 300 community members proposed and voted on names for a new pan-university agency. See the results here.
Stay in touch! We've created a mailing list of people who are
