This website was originally created by the Community Forestry at Home and Abroad class at the University of Vermont during the spring of 2002.  The creators' intent was to produce a website that would help "future knowledge seekers" learn more about community-based forestry on a national and international level.  This website was revised during the spring of 2005 to illustrate the most current community-based forestry principles and practices.  It also contains up-to-date resources  for individuals interested in furthering their pursuit of community forestry.  The class of 2005 joins with the previous class in hoping that your exploration of this website will lead you down a path of understanding and implementing community forestry.
