Course Offerings

  • EDCI 295: ePortfolios for Learning and Assessment (Spring and Summer semesters)

This course supports students in the Curriculum & Instruction masters program who have a concentration in educational technology or other program concentrations. In this course, students work independently to learn how to create an electronic portfolio to demonstrate and assess their knowledge and proficiency in the field of educational technology. The student will research various types of eportfolio designs and with the instructor’s help choose a format that is most appropriate for the student. The student will then create an eportfolio that documents the student’s course of study in the C&I masters program. As a final product, participants will build an ePortfolio in a tool of their choice. The final eportfolio product can be used during the student’s master’s defense presentation to present evidence of content area mastery.
