At UVM, student safety and security remains a top priority. While many programs and services are available, there will always be more that we can do, and we remain open to all good ideas for improvement.
The major task is balancing UVM’s tradition and desire to be an open, welcoming community with our responsibility to provide the safest environment we can for our campus community. Perhaps our greatest remaining challenge is to more effectively help students make better individual decisions about the activities they choose to engage in, and the culture they collectively shape.
