Diversity Task Force Co-ChairsEach year, the Task Force is co-chaired by two members of the RSENR community. Co-chairs are responsible for organizing Task Force meetings, setting agendas, charging sub-committees, and acting as liaisons between the Task Force and other on- and off-campus groups. Marie has worked at UVM since 1999, first as the ALANA Recruitment Coordinator in the Office of Admissions, then as a Career Counselor and internship coordinator in the Rubenstein School of Environmment and Natural Resources, and presently as Assistant Dean for Student Services & Staff Development in the Rubenstein School. She has a BA degree in English and Psychology, and a Ed.M. in Counseling and Higher Education Administration. Some of her professional interests include green jobs & internships, social justice, and engaged learning.
Kirsten is originally from Massachusetts and completed her undergraduate
degree in Environmental Studies and Spanish at Pitzer College in
Claremont, California. After graduation she spent a year
teaching English in South Korea with the Fulbright program and two years serving as an Americorps
volunteer. Now, she is a second year Master's student working with Dr. Clare Ginger.
