Help us spread the word...
Francie's Cabin, Janet's Cabin and the hut systems in general will continue to be successful only if people are educated about use of the huts, respect the system, and have a strong backcountru ethic. You can help us spread the word by sharing this newsletter and letting your friends know the rules of the huts.

Francie's Cabin, built in memory of Frances Lockwood Bailey, is located 5 miles south of Breckenridge. The cabin will accommodate up to 20 guests. ...About Janet's Cabin
Janet's Cabin opened Thanksgiving 1994 for its fifth season of operation. As one of the most popular huts in the state, Janet's Cabin sees over 2,800 guests per winter!
Janet's Cabin is reserved for the use of registered overnight guests only. Day use is not permitted for a number of reasons, particularly the limited resources of the cabin including the composting toilet, propane system and supplies. As Janet's Cabin is located in a roadless area, all supplies must be flown in by helicopter, making each stick of firewood and roll of toilet paper a valuable commodity.
Guests at Janet's Cabin this season will find a third cooktop has been added to the kitchen. SHA has also installed a more efficient heater in the composting toilet vault in hopes of keeping the compost warmer so the bacteria can break down the waste faster.
Janet's Cabin, built in memory of Janet Boyd Tyler, is located 5 1/2 miles west of Copper Mountain Resort. The cabin will accommodate up to 20 guests. Water is available by melting snow, which is why dogs are not allowed.

Contact them at 303-925-5775. Weekend nights are almost all booked, but there is still plenty of availability early season and April.
