Grading: Your grade will be based upon quizzes, 3 midterms, and a final exam. Homework will be assigned weekly, but it will not be collected. These homework assignments will prepare you for quizzes that we will have in-class. The quizzes will be held each Friday at the end of class, except for weeks that we have an exam. There are no makeup quizzes for any reason, but the two lowest quiz grades will be dropped. Makeup exams may be given only in the case that there is a documented emergency.

30% In-Class Quizzes
45% Midterm Exams (each worth 15%)
25% Final Exam

Attendance: I will be covering new topics each class, so it is expected that you attend each class. You are responsible for learning the material even if you are not in class. When you are in class, please refrain from using cell phones.

Academic Honesty: Cheating and plagiarizing will not be tolerated. There are serious consequences under the university for such actions and I will pursue them if necessary.
