Rain Gauging Project
Lesley-Ann L. Dupigny-Giroux, Ph.D., Associate Professor & VT State Climatologist, University of Vermont, Department of Geography has started a community based project to measure differences in small scale rainfall distribution. Five rain gauges will be given to volunteers who are willing to assist in monitoring rainfall in different locations of the neighborhood. At this time we are seeking volunteers residing in each of the five areas circled on this map. If you wish to participate please contact Lesley-Ann at ldupigny@uvm.edu.
