Russ Agne is pleased to again
serve as an instructor for the secondary science methods course, an
opportunity he has had since 1969. What is different this spring is
that he is working collaboratively with professional development
schools under support from the Bell Atlantic Foundation. Students in
the course will have to have access to the "web" in order to derive
maximum benefit from the course. Areas of interest to the instructor
include distance learning, science assessment, and interdisciplinary
teaching involving science. He has a research interest in teacher use
of original science data in the teaching of science, both at the
elementary and secondary levels.
