Membership Guidelines

Undergraduates

• Registered for major or minor standing in psychology
• Completion of 3 semesters of the undergraduate curriculum  
• Completion of at least 3 psychology courses 
• Ranking in the top 35% of the class in general scholarship 
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in both psychology classes and in cumulative grades 

Graduate students:

• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in graduate courses

Procedure:

• New members are elected by the current members of University of Vermont chapter following the procedures stated in the National Psi Chi Constitution
