Dr. Connolly is an Associate Professor teaching exercise physiology, research methods, kinesiology and the science of strength training and
conditioning.Dr. Connolly received both an undergraduate and graduate degree in sports studies and education from the University of Ulster in Ireland, a MS degree in exercise science from the University of Rhode Island and a Ph.D. in exercise science from Oregon State University. Dr. Connolly is director of UVM's Human Performance Laboratory which specializes in fitness testing and research. He has authored over 70 articles on health and fitness and is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Connolly's research interests lie in sports performance and muscle damage.
