Community Forum on Inclusive Excellence
The President’s Commission for Inclusive Excellence invites members of the University of Vermont community to attend a Community Forum on Inclusive Excellence. The purpose of this forum is to allow members of the UVM community to meet and engage with members of the President’s Commission for Inclusive Excellence; to discuss UVM’s Framework for Inclusive Excellence; and to provide an opportunity for members of the UVM community to share thoughts, concerns and ideas regarding diversity and inclusion at the University of Vermont.
Three forums are scheduled as follows;.
- Monday, April 18, 2016: 2:00-3:30 pm, Silver Maple Ballroom, Davis Center
- Wednesday, April 20, 2016: 1:00-2:30 pm, Memorial Lounge, Waterman Building
- Monday, April 21, 2016: 3:00-4:30 pm, Jost Foundation Room, Davis Center
The President’s Commission for Inclusive Excellence is an institutional advisory board at the University of Vermont, whose primary mission is to advance the strategic diversity and inclusion goals of the University of Vermont. This commission is comprised of students, faculty, and staff from across campus who have demonstrated leadership and a deep commitment to diversity, multicultural competency, and inclusion efforts. As the commission moves forward in its work, it welcomes thoughts and ideas from the broader UVM community.
