Our foremost priority is to provide qualified students with “Access to Success” at UVM. We are focused on maximizing prospects for student enrollment and reducing student debt through financial aid, scholarships, and maintaining moderate tuition growth. A number of our programs support our goals to enroll the best and the brightest students, provide scholarships and financial aid, minimize student debt, and ensure a timely graduation in four years.

  • Food Systems

    Eligible UVM undergraduates with a minor in Food Systems have the opportunity to pursue an Accelerated Master’s Program in Food Systems.

  • Sustainability Leadership

    The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources offers a low-residency Master of Science in Natural Resources with a concentration in Leadership for Sustainability.

  • Murphy Hall '11

    Green and Gold Scholarships are merit-based scholarships that offer tuition remission to the top rising seniors from Vermont High Schools

  • New Americans

    The New Americans Program is a new initiative to increase outreach and promote enrollment for new American and Abenaki students in the local area

  • Summer University offers a 30% reduction in tuition for over 500 courses, including 15 faculty-led study abroad programs


  • UVM and Vermont Law School have collaborated to offer a new “3 + 2” program that will allow students to earn an undergraduate and a law degree in only five years


  • The School of Business Administration now offers a One Year Sustainable Entrepreneurship MBA Program
