The 26th President of the University of Vermont
From Feasibility Study
to Strategic Financial Plan
"Our financial model has undergone thorough and rigorous testing and is proven to be at once bold, workable, and adaptable to changing conditions. Founded on carefully managed growth and focused investments to accommodate that growth, the model represents a dramatic improvement over status quo thinking. It is the best way--and arguably the only way--to reach our goals as a competitive national university." --President Daniel Mark Fogel

"It represents an analysis of unprecedented scope and detail, and should assure the Board that the vision and strategic and financial plans are both sound and workable and I have become even more convinced that the plan we developed is not only the best, but in fact the only workable mechanism to carry our very good but in truth vulnerable University decisively, securely and permanently into the first rank of institutions of higher learning." --President Daniel Mark Fogel
