The Board of Trustees at their May meeting agreed to eliminate the mandatory PEAC requirement for all underclassmen. This goes into effect immediately. No longer is it required to take 2 credits of PEAC to graduate. Therefore, we are no longer offering the Credit by Exam option.

The purpose of the Physical Education Basic Instruction Program is to design and implement quality programs that develop skills, attitudes, interests and knowledge pertaining to physical movement as a basis for a lifetime of activity enhancing the quality of human existence, and provide an opportunity for all persons within the University community to receive quality instruction in a variety of movement experiences consonant with their levels of skill and interest.
