Roger Williams is a talented fingerpicker and vocalist who was the rhythm guitarist for the Kesey-Bear band. In October of 2003, we recorded a few of our favorite tunes as a duet. Thanks to Gary Entsminger for recording this live session.
Django's Castle [2:18]
I Can't Give You Anything But Love [3:28]

2003.10.15. Roger & Me.
Roger and I had played for several years in the Kesey-Bear band, and it was fun to dust off some of the older fiddle tunes, as well as play a few more recent gypsy jazz tunes. Gary Entsminger recorded this evening session at his house in Jericho, and it is always nice to have someone else handling the recordings so you can concentrate on the music. Roger's vocals really shine on Summertime. My favorite instrumental from this set is Blackberry Blossom, which features some of Roger's intricate fingerpicking. In the background of some of these songs, you can hear Gary's mom, Libby Entsminger, cleaning up the dinner dishes. She also pipes in with that cute little "Yes!" at the end of I Can't Give You Anything But Love. This recording session is dedicated to her memory.
