2010.05.29. Fearless!.
Fearless is a somewhat obscure Pink Floyd tune that Elizabeth and I discovered was on our common set list when we started playing together 14 years ago. Fearless is also an appropriate title for this style of recording, in which we recorded the entire album, live, in a single 24-hour period! It was fun to record some of our favorite artists (The Dead, Dylan, Clapton, The Beatles, Jimmy Cliff) whom we cover in performance. Thanks to Aaron Ellison for mandolin on Friend Of The Devil.

2010.05.xx. 12 From 10.
For our second CD (12 tunes from 2010), Elizabeth and I stretched out with some singer-songwriter covers of Shawn Colvin, Bruce Cockburn, Tracy Chapman, Nick Drake, and The Wailin' Jennys. Of course, we couldn't call ourselves "Easy Wind" without at least one Grateful Dead cover. We chose something from the vault, Mountains Of The Moon, which features some beautiful fingerpicking by Elizabeth. Elizabeth plays solo on Monopoly, and I play solo on Little Martha.

2008.06.xx. I Can See Clearly Now.
For our first CD effort, Elizabeth and I dug back to some classic rock and reggae from the 1970s and the 1980s. All that great music by The Clash, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello, Led Zeppelin, etc. deserves to be played and heard more! Most of these recordings were made in the "studio", meaning that I laid down rhythm and lead guitar tracks on a Zoom MRS 16-track recorder in Vermont, and Elizabeth added her vocals and harmonies on her machine in Massachusetts. However, Dear Prudence, Guns of Brixton -> Which Side Are You On? and Walking Blues were all recorded live, and give you a better feeling for our music in concert.

CD Cover Art
Although CDs are on their way out, Elizabeth's talented drawings and creative layout still grace our CD covers. If you are interested in obtaining a printed copy of these covers, send me an e-mail and I will see what I can do.
