I earned my PhD at the University of Vermont while working as a research
assistant at the UVM Transportation Research Center.
My research with Dr. Lisa Aultman-Hall covered a broad range of topics including transportation applications of Geographic Information Systems, characterizing second-by-second driver behavior using in-vehicle instrumentation and modeling roundabouts using cellular automata.trb2013

I received my Masters degree in civil engineering at the University of Maine in 2008.  Together with Dr. Per Garder and the Maine Department of Transportation, I evaluated the effectiveness of the statewide deployment and integration of several advanced traveler information systems.
