Born in 1987 in a small town in central North Carolina and currently living in the Green Mountain State.
My hobbies have pretty much always been divided between technology and outdoor sports. There have been times when one took precedence over the other, but they have both helped define who I am.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011, where I worked in the molecular reaction dynamics laboratory of Professor Liam Duffy. My degrees were in interdisciplinary mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
I am currently a Materials Science M.S. student at the University of Vermont. I joined the condensed matter theory group back in the beginning of 2012, where I work with Professor Adrian Del Maestro. I am applying my knowledge of computer programming and mathematics to study some of the exciting properties of a phase of matter called a superfluid.
