Kate Finley Woodruff has professional experience working both for the government and private sector. She held the position of Marketing Specialist with the Vermont Department of Agriculture, Food and Markets for five years, where she worked with commodity groups and various state agencies to collaborate and network on state, regional, and international marketing initiatives. Kate also worked with many small food entrepreneurs to develop marketing strategies for their agriultural and specialty food products. For almost two decades, Kate operated her own consulting business, and worked extensively with Cabot Creamery Cooperative to coordinate national media promotion campaigns, developed national arts partnerships with over 200 performances a year, and worked to coordinate various special events and promotions. Kate earned a MPA from the University of Vermont, interned with the Vermont Legislature, and taught as an adjunct instructor for five years before joining CDAE as an Lecturer.
