Linnea grew up in a suburb northwest of Chicago, and made her first trek to New England to attend college at Colby College in Waterville, ME, majoring in psychology and cognitive science. Following graduation, she went west to Denver, CO, and began a career working in various non-profits surrounding areas such as affordable housing advocacy, substance treatment in the homeless, arts and culture development, intentional communities, and volunteer management. While in Denver, she began nuturing a passion for what makes communities survive and thrive, and carries other interests in local currencies, the 3 P's of sustainability, and philanthropy. In 2012, she came to Colchester, VT with her husband, who is a resident at Fletcher Allen Health Care.
