Biography
Gil has been a faculty member at the Vermont Law School since 1981.  During that time he has specialized and taught courses in administrative law, constitutional law, civil rights, and federal courts.  Previously Gil has served as Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Education (1980-1981), as Counsel to the Intelligence Oversight Board (1979–1980), Special Assistant to the General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Defense (1977-1979, and as Law Clerk in the U.S. Supreme Court for Justices Potter Stewart and Byron White (1976-1977).
