Important Findings:

The current world population is nearly 6.6 billion people
Rates of population growth in the First and Second Worlds are either low, zero, or negative
The greatest rate of growth is currently occurring and will occur in the future in the Third World
Current levels of growth, consumption, and waste production are not sustainable
If we make no effort to raise awareness, our species - and other species - could soon encounter an "overshoot and collapse"...a demographic catastrophe
