LGBTQApril

The Kinsey Sicks

In previous years, we've had on-campus the drag performers Kinsey Sicks, the one-man show "B4T (Before Testosterone)," and Arab-American activist, poet, and musician Joanna Kadi. We've also hosted movies, such as The Times of Harvey Milk, and dinner events, such as "Queering The Lord of the Rings." Day of Silence: Join the LGBTQA Community for the National Day of Silence. The National Day of Silence brings attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Silence cards are available in the Allen Office and Free2Be Office (Davis Center, 3rd Floor SGA). Please wear black in solidarity to commemorate the lost of our fellow sisters and brothers of the LGBTQ Community. Rainbow Awards: The LGBTQA Center@UVM hosts the annual Awards & Rainbow Graduation Ceremony after classes end in the Spring Semester - complete with music, food, and fun - to celebrate UVM's LGBTQA community, its many achievements, and the LGBTQA students who are graduating (both undergrads and graduate students) in May.

For listings of previous years’ April events, watch the slideshow below of the posters from 2007 to present.
