This is the first of a two-course sequence in intermediate quantum mechanics.  It is assumed that students have had a course in modern physics, a course in intermediate classical mechanics and considerable exposure to linear algebra and differential equations.  

The topics to be covered will include Time-Dependent and Time-Independent Schrödinger Equation; Applications in One, Two and Three Dimensions; Matrix Mechanics; Angular Momentum in Quantum Mechanics; Quantum Statistics.
