Design Goals

 Our design goals were formed from the needs of our customer which we framed as a 2 man team deploying six SnowMAN prototypes anywhere in the US.  

From this senario, we formed a list of attributes for the stand that would satisfy the needs of our customer.

Durable-has to withstand snow storms on the mountain
Cheap to Manufacture
Easy component replacement-easy re-wiring/switching out sensors
Easy connections w/ gloves-easy to connect and unconnect the box
Cold Weather Functionality
Waterproof
1 Step Deployability-ideal
Easy Field Replacement-be able to use gloves to replace parts
