DEANE SETS NEW MEET RECORD
--January 26th Senior Captain George Deane set a new meet record in route to winning the 1000 meter title at the Northeastern Husky Invitational. Deane came within one half second of his own school record posting a time of 2:26.80. He easily pulled away from the field at 300 meters and went on to victory by over 2 seconds. Deane the defending conference champion in the 1000M is off to a fast start this season. He has already posted personal bests in the 3000M(8:30.09) and the Mile(4:14.98). With this strong start Deane will be again at the top of the America East performance lists. Deane and the Men's track team will next be in action on February 10th at the University of New Hampshire.
