In January 2001 I assumed the position of PT3
Grant Professional Development Coordinator. In this capacity I am mainly
responsible for helping our pre-service teaching faculty integrate and
model good use of technology in their teaching.

Intersession
Schedule: During the 2001 Intersession break, Both CESS and Liberal
Arts Faculty participated in a number of workshops. I personally taught
the Web publishing and actively participated in Assistive Technology, Imovie,
Standards into Action and Technology Assessment and the Mentor Sessions
that focused on facilitating online course discussion.

Workshops: I also developed a series of spring workshops based on faculty
assessment needs and offered half and full day lessons on:

In the 2000 - 2001 semester I supervised three
Independent studies: One student is developing a Hyperstudio teaching stack
for Lake Champlain Basin Science Center, another student taught PowerPoint
to two Edmunds
middle school classes and a PE student developed a website
and worked with a PE faculty member to help her develop a site about
MS.
