Joyce, sorry that I was unable to say good-bye yesterday, but you were pretty busy and I didn't want to interrupt you. I wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the fact that you made special accommodation for me to take this class, and that I really got a lot out of it. Not only was the class informative, but also a great deal of fun. You're an exceptional teacher and an obvious asset to the University of Vermont. Hopefully I'll run into you this fall.
