Complete your photo with a frame
Start with a photo you love and want to enhance with a special
touch . |
Create a new layer. On the new layer use the rectangular
marquee tool to create a box around the portion of the photo you would
like inside the frame. Then go to the Select menu and
choose INVERSE. This creates the frame area. |
Then you must fill the frame area with a color. Use the Edit
menu and choose Fill. You may fill with a background or foreground
color or just use black or white. Black is used in the example. |
Now to add some style to the frame area. Use the Fiter
menu. Select ARTISTIC and Colored Pencil. |
On the Colored Pencil menu, you may select the Pencil Width,
Stroke Pressure and Paper Brightness. The example uses 8 forWidth
,8 for Pressure, and 25 for paper brightness |
Voila! A framed photo. |
