I am an ecosystem scientist with a particular interest in the dynamic interactions among human activity, terrestrial systems, and atmospheric quality. My work focuses on these interactions particularly as they relate to carbon cycling and carbon sequestration in forest and residential landscapes. I am especially interested in understanding the complex of interrelated factors that influences sources and sinks of carbon dioxide at local, regional, and national scales.
