Quest for 1st Graders Jade looked up at the sky today and noticed that the
clouds were very thin, just floating around in the sky, but yesterday they
were dark gray, thick and not moving at all. Jade was confused and didn’t understand
how clouds could look so different?
“I thought all clouds are the same,” she thought, “so then how can they look so
different from one day to the next?”
Your task is to answer Jade’s question and find out about the
different clouds that she has been observing in the sky. 1. Can you think about clouds that you
have seen recently? On your paper
can you describe these clouds and include the size, shape and color of them.
