Wild, Whirling Winds

 

              “Hello everyone! Are you ready? Do you have your lunch, a pencil, piece of paper, and your raingear? Good, it sounds like we’re almost ready to go. Let’s get on the Weather Bus. We’re going on a field trip. We’re going on a tornado fieldtrip!”

   

 

“We’re here! We’re at the Tornado Museum. Oh no! Our Weather Bus is broken down. We need to fix it. The dial says it lost the “tornado information.”

 

This is what YOU need to do. On the Tornado Fieldtrip you will  make four stops. On your stop you will have a questions to answer. YOU need to find the information to answer the question. Bring all the information you gather back to me so we can fix our Weather Bus. Be safe. Tornadoes are Dangerous. Good luck!

4)     What type of destruction does a tornado cause? Can a tornado pick up a house?

6)     What are some clues to look for in the sky that will help us know if a tornado is coming?

7)     What can you do for safety before a tornado comes to your area?

8)     How can you stay safe if a tornado warning is issued to your area?
