Animals of the Ocean

Studying the ocean is very important, especially because we depend upon the ocean for food, water, and other resources. We must learn about the animals that live in the ocean so that we can care for them and manage our ocean related resources properly.

Challenge

You have just been offered a deep sea diving trip in the Atlantic Ocean for seven days. All of your expenses will be paid, as long as you keep a daily journal of the animals you are seeing during your diving. Your journal must inlcude ten animals with a fact about each, a detailed description of one animal (looks, location, unique trait, etc.), the invertebrate and vertebrates of the ocean, and five terms that you have learned from the marine biologists and the crew on your ship.
