Women's History Month

Second Grade Webquest on Women in history

While talking to your friend, Pat, the discussion of the month of March comes up.  Pat tells you that he is Irish and that St. Patty’s Day is a very important day for Irish people and for the month of March.  You tell Pat that March is also a very important month for women.  You explain that March is women’s history month meaning that March is a month in which our country celebrates what women have done for our world.  Pat explains that he does not know about many women who have done wonderful things for the world.  You decide that you want to prove to him that women have done many great things for our world.  You want to prove to Pat that March is not a month just for the Irish.
