Introduction:
Every human, plant, and animal depends on water for survival.  Let's explore the Earth's water cycle; what exactly is it?  Take a tour through the water cycle! Learn about what happens to a drop of water as it experiences evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.

Your Challenge:
We need your help!  We need to find out what happened to Drippy the Raindrop.  He was last seen floating in the ocean about 2 days ago.  He is missing and you are going to help us find him.  You'll need to gather a lot of information about the water cycle in order to find him.  There are some questions for you to answer and there are some activities for you to do to learn all about the water cycle!  Read all about Drippy the Raindrop and his exciting adventures. You will find the answers to these questions by clicking on the links.  Good luck searching!  We hope you find Drippy!

Start Your Journey

1)  What is Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation, and Collection?

5)  Name at least 5 different forms of precipitation

6)  Why does it rain?  What happens to rain once it falls to the ground?  View the Power Point slide show to learn more about the water cycle.
