Introduction

Your family is moving into a new house. There are many things that you can use to get the furniture into your house.  Some of the furniture needs to be on the first floor but some of it needs to go on the second floor. Some of the furniture can not be lifted by just one person and there are only three people moving the furniture. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil to go on your journey to find all the different things it will take to move into your new house. Remember, the more the better because that will be easier.

The Challenge

In this WebQuest you are going to need to find information about SIMPLE MACHINES on the Internet. The information you need to find is:

 
Define all six SIMPLE MACHINES.

Make illustrations of how SIMPLE MACHINES work

Find 5-10 SIMPLE MACHINES at home.

Find 5 websites that have all the simple machines on it.

Extra:  Find at least one inventor of SIMPLE MACHINES.
