CHALLENGE
Many of you have great interest in learning about the Arctic and Antarctic regions, but have you ever thought that you could make a career out of it? There are many different careers in science that allow you to work in environments such as these. Your challenge is to pretend that you are a team member of the Jason Project 13. You will do research on the internet about what the requirements to become a scientist are as well as what they do. Your final project will be a journal entry about the day in the life of which ever career you choose. You may choose to investigate Oceanographers, Marine Biologists, Geologists, Climatologists, or Mammologists. Examples of details you should include are:What must I do to pursue this career? What is my job description? With whom do I work? What tools or instruments do I need?Where do I work? What is the environment like?
