Welcome kids!  We get through each day by using our five senses.  Those senses are hearing, sight, taste, smell, and sound.  These five senses help people get around without having accidents.  It's very important to understand what the different senses are and how they work.  Your eyes are important because they help you see, your nose helps you smell, your fingers help you touch, your tongues helps  you taste, and your ears help you hear.  This web quest if going to focus on your eyes.  Did you know that you see things through a lens in your eye which sends messages to your brain to let you know what you are looking at.  Once the message arrives at your brain, it helps to figure out what colors and shapes you are seeing.  You are going to be exploring web sites and looking at different shapes and colors in pictures.  Have fun!

Task:
During this journey you will be going to the different web sites and looking at colorful pictures.  Take a few minutes to look at the different shapes and colors you see in the picture.  On the worksheet that your teacher has for you, either draw the different shapes you see and color them in, or use words to describe what your eyes see.  Sometimes your eyes can play tricks on you so be careful and look at each picture closely.  Good luck and enjoy!
