Mission Erosion Prevention - My name is Mr. Smith and I work at the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (or EPA). We need your help! The coastlines all over the US are eroding away every day. This is a picture of my house in Florida; I had to watch my neighbor's house just about fall into the ocean. As you can see my pool is soon going to be filled with sea water not my nice pool water. I need some help from experts who are willing to join my team at the EPA. If you are interested and willing to help the pay is really good and I need the help.

Your Mission:
           Today as you know, you are being asked to help Mr. Smith stop the erosion from reaching his house. He has called our school to see if there was anyone qualified enough to get the job done. He wants to assemble a team of erosion prevention experts to help him out. This is a very wealthy man who already works for the EPA and needs to recruit a full team to fight this battle; he will pay you very well. He wants you to brush up on your costal erosion knowledge and then apply for a job at the EPA.
Mission Steps:
1. Go to the Employment Page and print out the Employment Application for the EPA, this will help you record your thoughts as you brush up or learn all about costal erosion, and erosion prevention.
2. Go to the Research Page to get a list of online resources you can use to brush up on your knowledge.
3. Read the directions on the Research Page, and begin your studies.
4. Fill out the missing areas on the Job Application.
5. Go back to the Employment Page and print out the Cover Letter template. You will use this for your homework and turn it in when you are done.
