| Herbivore- an animal that eats plants. |
| Carnivore- an animal that eats animals/meat. |
| Omnivore- an animal that eats both plants and animals. |

| Second level consumer- animals(carnivores) that eat first level consumers. |
| Third level consumer- bigger animals (carnivores) that eat second level consumers. |
| Predator- an animal that catches and eats other animals. |
| Prey- an animal that is caught and eaten by other animals. |
