Lucas Landmark's ROADTRIP!
It's spring break and you are bummed because your trip to Florida has been canceled. However the weather here in Vermont is not something you want to stick around for. That's when your phone rings, it's your buddy Lucas on the phone! Lucas Landmark has been one of your best friends since the day you were born. You and Lucas have done everything together, from swimming in his pool, to riding bikes around the block, to going to the candy store and overloading on penny candy. But wait... the two of you have  never left the block!

Your Challenge:
This is your lucky chance! Lucas has invited you to join him on a road trip with his family. The plan is to travel the country from landmark to landmark, from the Statue of Liberty to Old Faithful and everywhere in between. However, you can't just come along for ride. The Landmark family needs you to contribute to this trip. No, they aren't asking for gas money, they need your photography skills. You are invited on the road trip only if you promise to complete a scrap book at the end of the trip. Lucas Landmark wants to prove to the school that he can travel the block.. and beyond!

                                                 The Scrapbook:

Pictures:

Cut and paste pictures  from the websites you visited onto a Microsoft Word document. If you are unfamiliar with this program you may use the worksheet I've created.  Remember your visiting 6 landmarks so there needs to be at least 6 pictures. However, the more pictures you add the more interesting the scrapbook. You can add pictures of states you traveled through or food you ate or anything else, just be creative! Don't forget to label what website it was you found the pictures on.

Description:

Write a brief description of what the landmark. Why is it a landmark, what does it represent? Is it natural or man made? What does it look like? Could you touch it? Be creative, use ALL of your senses to describe each landmark
