Wetlands!
Introduction: When
you hear the word
Wetlands what do you think of? Do you
think of land covered with water, or do you think about all the
different kinds
of animals and plants that are in the Wetlands? We are going to take an
adventure through the Wetlands and find out exactly what it is.
Your
Challenge: Find
what
kind of animals
live
in Wetlands! Once you do that, can you
tell me what they eat? What kind of homes
these
animals live in? What kind
of plants
live in the Wetlands? And
what about protecting these
animals and their homes?
However, before you start, can you tell me what a Wetland
is? Did you know that there are Wetlands
right here in Vermont?!
