Amphibian Exhibit
A new science museum
is being built in your town. For the grand opening, the museum is having
a large exhibit on endangered animals in North America. Everyone is excited
to see what kinds of animals will be shown. The museum wants to help
educate the public on why these animals are becoming extinct and what we
can do to help save them from disappearing forever.
The museum needs your help! The amphibian exhibit
needs more researchers to help discover all the endangered North American
amphibians. An amphibian is an animal that is capable of living
both on land and in water, such as a frog or salamander. Amphibians
are unlike fishes in that most types have limbs instead of fins and generally
breathe through lungs and skin instead of through gills. Most amphibians are
small animals. An exhibit is a public display of something. They
need your help!
