This vernacular home is clad in white shingle, with black trimming surrounding the gable front roof, as well as the window shutters. The entrance is located on the east façade of the front entrance, and the building has a two by two bay.
In 1901, Peter J. Smith who worked at BS Nicols and Company occupied the building. Smith moved from 21 South Champlain, where he lived between 1886 through 1900. [33] BS Nicols and Company manufactured Langs pumps, steamfire engines and all kinds of machinery within Burlington and throughout Vermont.
