Volunteers in Action
This is the largest student-administered club at the University of Vermont. VIA's mission is simple: we address needs in the community that have not been met by traditional municipal/private agencies or offices. With hundreds of volunteers in fifteen programs, we do a lot in Burlington and the surrounding area.

RISE
The
Residents Involved in Service Experiences (RISE) Program, is a service program that offers opportunities for service-learning within our campus’ residential communities. Essential to the success of this program will be a team of residential students (RISE Coordinators) who will plan service projects for their peers within each of the nine residential complexes. These students will be trained, and equipped with materials and resources to support them in service project planning, implementation, and evaluation. For more information about RISE contact or to become a leader in your residence hall contact
