Our mission is to contribute to the sustainable, community-based economic development of the state of Vermont by supporting Vermont’s current and next generation entrepreneurs.

Goals
In order to fulfill the store’s mission the Growing Vermont team seeks to accomplish the following goals:
1) Educate the University of Vermont community about the positive impacts of buying local.
2) Build awareness of the availability of Vermont products and businesses.
3) Provide a retail incubator space where Vermont’s entrepreneurs collaborate with UVM students to research optimal business and marketing strategies.
4) Sustain an “entrepreneurship laboratory” where UVM students apply their academic training to solve real-world business problems.
5) Contribute to sustainable community development through entrepreneurship training.
