Description: Jeff, UVM Geology Graduate Student 1992, Perkins Museum of Geology Curator 1992-93, is author of "HOW DO YOU GET A WHALE IN VERMONT? The Unlikely Story of Vermont’s Official State Fossil"Howe will explain how a 12,000 year-old whale fossil ended up buried beneath a Vermont farmer's field, 200 miles and two mountain ranges from the nearest sea. Geology Dept: Awards, Honors, and End-of-Semester Clebration

Description: Celebrate the succesful completion of the Spring 2014 semester. All Geology Dept undergraduate, graduate and work-study students, faculty and staff are encouraged to celebrate with recipients of Awards and Honors such as, Doll, Bucke, Graduate Teaching Award, Am. Minerologist Undergraduate Award, Sigma Gamma Epsilon Honors, and to recognize our valuable student employees.
