Lesson 24 introduces new vocabulary that is used to describe colors. Colors terminology is used similarly adjective's terminology (look for adjective's rules in lesson #7). Note that many of the colors forms have a similar voweling structure.
Also lesson 24 introduces the form of combination of all ten pronouns with "Shell" (the Hebrew equivalent of "Of" ): Shelly, Shelcha and so forth. It was mentioned in lesson #17 that in Hebrew a pronoun cannot follow a preposition (to you, of him, and so forth) instead the preposition is assigned a pronoun ending.
The possession preposition "Shel" (of) is altered to sound like
"Shelli" | (of me) |
"Shell Cha" | (of you(m/s)) |
"Shellach" | (of you(f/s)) |
"Shello" | (of his) |
"Shellah" | (of hers) |
"ShellaNu" | (of us) |
"Shell Chem" | (of you(p/s)) |
"Shellachen" | (of you(p/s)) |
"Shellahem" | (of them(m)) |
"Shellahen" | (of them(f)) |
